Our commitment to premium quality materials means that REALFUN™ models can be passed down for generations and will look as good in a hundred years as the day they were made!
REALFUN™ models offer a premium quality product that will be able to be passed down for generations, a true family heirloom. All the plates and strips are laser cut from 304 grade Stainless Steel and the joining blocks are CNC machined from solid Aluminium, so they won’t rust or break. Wheels are machined from solid industrial Acetal plastic and there is no paint to chip, flake, or fall off!
No fiddly bits or sharp edges
REALFUN™ models have been designed to be slightly challenging, but not overwhelming to assemble due to our innovative NONUTZ™ build system with no fiddly little nuts. No parts of a REALFUN™ model have sharp edges, from the plates and strips to the joining blocks.
A REALFUN™ model build may be the first time a child has used a screwdriver. At first it can be a challenge as the child may not know which way to turn a screwdriver until shown and they then can try it for themselves. The screws, plates, and threaded blocks all need to be aligned, but our innovative NONUTZ™ build system means it’s not too difficult or overwhelming. Once they have the hang of it, they will enjoy the experience and continue to develop their fine motor skills and dexterity.

Although our REALFUN™ models have been safety approved for use by children from the age of 8, we reckon that building models and enjoying imaginative play should not be exclusive to children only! It’s our hope that adults will also gain much satisfaction and enjoyment from building our REALFUN™ models!

After rigorous testing of all parts and materials, our REALFUN™ models have been safety approved by SGS, a leading testing, inspection and certification company located in the USA, who have certified that our REALFUN™ models are suitable for use by children from the age of 8. It was important for us to complete this process so that we could offer our customers peace of mind around the safety of our products.
NONUTZ™ INNOVATION
The genius of the REALFUN™ model range lies in our new patent-pending innovation, the NONUTZ™ build system.
Our NONUTZ™ system employs the use of CNC machined solid aluminium blocks with a threaded hole on each face. Plates or strips of metal are quickly and easily fastened by a screw, using the magnetic-tipped screwdriver supplied with every REALFUN™ model kit.
Across the entire product range, there is not a single fiddly little square nut to be found!
